Second sharpening stone

I recently received a straight razor that wasn't shave ready, stropping didn't help. I have a 4000k stone, but needed a finer grit stone. I was after an 8K or 10K stone. I saw this and thought it was perfect;3K & 8K on one stone.

I sharpened up the razor and it turned into a sweet save. This, in my inexperienced opinion, is a great stone. The 3k side forms a slurry quickly and the 8K is nice and hard. At the price I paid, it was hard to go wrong.

Prompt delivery and a great price, Scissor Tech were good to deal with. The rubber holder is nice and holds the stone well. I didn't give 5 stars because I'm not particularly experienced in honing. But even I was able to get a great edge from this stone.
